Dead Horse Point State Park, Juniper
... is one of a series of photographs from our 2011 road trip though southwest USA, a round trip from Las Vegas to the Four Corners region, taking in five states: Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Other photos in this set include Buffalo grazing beside US Hwy 89, the amazing Mugwumps Antiques, the landmark geological feature that is New Mexico's Shiprock, the stunning light beams in the slot canyon of Upper Antelope Canyon, the red rock formations of Valley of the Gods, the dirt road to Old Paria / Pariah, the Highline / Animas Canyon section of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, awe-inspiring Horseshoe Bend Overlook, Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde National Park, the instantly-recognisable buttes of Monument Valley and photos from assorted state parks, i.e. Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Gooseneck, Goblin Valley and Valley of Fire.
