A selection of photos from the Route 66 leg of our 2013 road trip through some of the Great Plains states. We have experienced Route 66 in seven of the eight states through which it passes (the exception being Kansas' short section) and for me at least, it is Oklahoma that best reflects the fabled spirit of the Mother Road.
