This is one of a set of photos taken on our Summer 2012 road trip though America's Deep South, a memorable trip that saw us fly into Atlanta, head west - via Warms Springs - into Alabama for a day or two in the wonderful city of Montgomery, move up to Memphis for more Martin Luther King history - plus a bit of Elvis - before following the majestic Mississippi south through Clarksdale, Vicksburg, Natchez, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Two weeks of civil rights, civil war, the blues, antebellum wealth, and cajun cooking - an unforgettable experience.
